A blissful holiday in Bali wouldn’t be complete without a pampering session at one of its many spas. We bring you a selection of the best spas in Bali that won’t have you breaking the bank! No matter what you’re after – a traditional Balinese massage, soothing facials, nail services, fabulous blowouts – Bali’s amazingly affordable spas will have you feeling like the queen (and king) you are.
1. Spring Spa

The New Zealand spa group has brought their signature treatments to the Island of Gods. An effortless fusion of beauty, design and lifestyle, Spring is a new innovation in spa experiences, with an extensive menu that offers pampering from head to toe. The spa group has three stunning locations in Bali: the two-level spa opposite W Hotel in Seminyak, the rooftop terrace of The Village Mall (twice named Asia’s Best Day Spa at the World Spa Awards!) and in Canggu’s hottest ‘hood’ of Batu Bolong. Our recommendation? The 90-minute Spring Signature Massage (IDR395k, ~S$39.50), Codage Hydration Facial (IDR495k, ~S$49.50) and Hair Rescue (IDR450k, ~S$45).
2. Kaiana Spa

Kaiana Spa is co-located with the famous eatery Warung Made. Although the establishment sits next to the bustling Raya Seminyak street, its upstairs location means it is sheltered away from the noise and dusty streets. With a colonial charm and a luxurious menu, there is a little something for everyone. Whether you indulge in a four-hour package, hair spa or beauty services, Kaiana Spa promises treatments that are in a league of its own. A 60-minute massage starts from just IDR290k (~S$29)!

Don’t want to leave your villa? Glo also has a mobile service that can literally bring the spa to you!
4. Bodyworks

Bodyworks has been pampering bodies for over 20 years and is one of the pioneer spas in Bali. Their massages are known as some of the best in town! A full body massage starts from IDR 295k (S$29.50). To complement their massages, an assortment of treatments are also available ranging from facials, waxing, nail and hair treatments.
5. Dala Spa

The spa also has an extensive range of packages for individuals and couples. With full body treatments that include massages, facials, body scrubs and baths, it sounds like the perfect spa date if you ask us!
6. Goldust Beauty Lounge

8. Tjampuhan Spa

Located in Ubud, we’d gladly fork out money for a treatment here just for the views. Situated in Tjampuhan Hotel at the base of a valley, Tjampuhan Spa is mere metres away from the river. An outdoor spa dedicated to the therapeutic properties of water, it has several semi-open treatment pavilions, as well as hot/cold spring water jacuzzi within a mythical stone cavern. Treatments start from 270,000 IDR, and you don’t have to be a hotel guest to experience its exceptional services and beautiful setting.
9. Cantika Spa

An all-organic spa and house of natural health and beauty, Cantika Spa is surrounded by vast rice fields. The last part of the road is not accessible by car but we promise the short walk will be well worth the journey. All of Cantika’s beauty products are made from scratch using the organic plants that they grow in their garden. Their prices are very affordable, and you can also attend a workshop on how to make your own products with herbs and ingredients available in your country!
